  1. That’s been my experience so far as well. Long line-ups to get into pavilions that I had no idea what was inside. Did you know that the Swiss pavilion is just a restaurant, with $20 fondue? I do now.

  2. Have you ever been to Zurich or Geneva? $20 is a deal, man. Perhaps we’re making things too complicated…it just might be Swiss culture.

For me, the height of ridiculousness is the zip line…15 seconds, man. Kurt, we should’ve built one out my window and across the street on The Drive. In fact…the Olympics are still on for three more nights…

  3. The Ziptrek is awesome and the most popular part of the olypics guys. Deal with it.

And the pavillions just aren’t for cheap people. See you at Irish House every night till the close. Colbert was there!!! You guys are on the list, too.

  4. Pete – the ziptrek is pretty cool, but I see people lined up at 6:45AM in the morning on my way to work. Some of them are wearing sleeping bags and I’m pretty sure at least a few of them had been waiting in line to since the dawn of time. Is that awesome? Good to know we’re on the list – but if you can get away from your zip trek duties you should join John and I at the Alabi Room in Gastown for the game tomorrow. We hope to see you there!

  5. Apparently a CBC intern was sent down to the zipline to see about the wait. They lined up sometime before noon and were just getting to the front at 6pm. Deal with it, Pete.
